Ingredients
- ¾ cup self raising flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Spray oil
- ¼ cup skim milk
- 1 cup frozen Birds Eye Chopped Onions
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Dried herbs – rosemary, oregano, thyme, parsley
- Rock salt
Method
STEP 1Sift flour into a bowl add oil, egg yolk and milk; mix to a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface to a 40cm oblong. Place on a greased or lined oven tray, spray dough lightly with oil.
STEP 2
Place frozen Birds Eye Chopped Onion in a small bowl, heat in a microwave oven on full power for 2 minutes. Add garlic, mix well and spoon evenly over dough base. Sprinkle with herbs and spray lightly with oil again. Lightly sprinkle with salt.
STEP 3
Cook in a preheated oven at 220ºC for 12 minutes or until golden. Serve warm as a starter or with soup, dips or antipasto platters.
Tips
Use a mixture of fresh herbs if available and sprinkle with finely grated parmesan cheese before baking.
