Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 600g frozen Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips – Sea Salt & Rosemary
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 6 x 100g eye fillet or minute steaks
- 12 slices sourdough bread, toasted
- ½ cup aioli
- 6 large butter lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 6 slices cheese
Method
STEP 1Cook frozen Birds Eye Deli Chips following packet directions.
STEP 2
Meanwhile, heat oil in a non stick frypan and cook onions over medium heat until softened and golden in colour, approximately 10-15 minutes. Add sugar and cook for a further minute.
STEP 3
Cook steaks until done to your liking. Rest, covered for 1-2 minutes.
STEP 4
Assemble sandwiches by spreading toasted bread with aioli. Top with lettuce, tomato, steak, cheese, caramelised onions and Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips. Serve with extra Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips on the side.
